FLO Pune, on the occasion of World Environment Day, introduced a series of community-driven initiatives under its Sustainability Vertical.
“The Little Leaf Initiative” is an ongoing paper collection drive aimed at recycling unused sheets into eco-friendly notebooks for underprivileged students.
“The Pinjra Project”, in collaboration with the chapter’s corporate sponsor and the Khadki Cantonment Board, organized a plastic collection drive that aims to reduce plastic waste at a household and community level. Special collection units will be placed at designated locations, encouraging segregation and recycling habits.
“E-Waste Drive”, collects outdated or unused electronic waste in a safe and environmentally conscious manner, ensuring proper disposal and recycling through authorized channels.
At the “Tree Plantation Drive at ITI Aundh”, members and volunteers planted native tree saplings at the ITI Anudh campus, spreading awareness of biodiversity and ecological balance.
