FLO Ludhiana, under the leadership of Chairperson Shweta Jindal (2025–26), in association with Sohana Hospitals, Ludhiana, organised “The Vitality Checkpoint”, a dedicated health awareness and wellness initiative for the community. The camp was held at the Elementary School, Jagpur Road, Village Mohi, to promote preventive healthcare, spread awareness about routine check-ups, and foster holistic well-being within the community. The program offered free medical services to the residents, including
- Eye check-ups conducted by Dr. Sanchi Vohra.
- Dental consultations by Dr. Jyoti Dhawan.
- Skin examinations by Dr. Harleen.
The camp not only provided immediate healthcare support but also identified patients requiring further treatment. As a direct outcome, over 50 surgeries have been planned, addressing critical health concerns that may have otherwise gone untreated. A few patients from the camp have already undergone successful surgeries. At the same time, the remaining procedures are scheduled for the coming week, reflecting the tangible and life-changing impact of this initiative.
By addressing healthcare needs at the grassroots level, “The Vitality Checkpoint” has set a powerful example of how collaborative efforts between organisations and medical institutions can transform community health. Nearly 850 individuals benefited from this initiative. FICCI FLO Ludhiana remains committed to carrying forward its mission of “The Power to Empower” by championing initiatives that strengthen health, education, and empowerment, thereby creating sustainable change and improving the quality of life for many people.
