YFLO Delhi, under the leadership of Chairperson Aaradhana Dalmia, hosted an interesting session for kids, “The Lemonade War,” in collaboration with Little Future Founders, THRIVE, and FICCI FLO at Delhi Max House, Okhla. Award-winning child expert & entrepreneur, Sonia Agarwal Bajaj, hosted this workshop for the children to instill essential entrepreneurial skills in children aged 5 and above.
Moving beyond traditional learning, this hands-on event transformed the simple lemonade stand into a real-life micro-business challenge, focusing on key concepts like pricing, marketing, and customer satisfaction through play. This event introduced children to essential business concepts like pricing, marketing, and customer satisfaction in a playful and engaging environment.
It cultivated crucial soft skills essential for success, including Teamwork, Entrepreneurial Thinking, Communication, Strategy, and Accountability. Also, this dynamic session provided a unique, hands-on platform where participants could apply lessons by making, pricing, and selling their own unique lemonade creations while managing friendly competition. The children actively worked in teams, devised marketing taglines, priced their products to maximize profits, and engaged directly with customers, showcasing their nascent entrepreneurial ideas.
“The Lemonade War” workshop was an undeniable success, generating significant outcomes that moved beyond simple fun:

Impact And Outcome
Around 43 students attended this engaging workshop to learn entrepreneurship skills in a fun way. It included Children (Aged 5+), YFLO members, parents, and community stakeholders interested in practical education. The Lemonade War proved that the seeds of entrepreneurial thinking can be planted early and effectively through engaging, hands-on learning.
By transforming a simple concept into a dynamic challenge, YFLO Delhi provided children with a powerful, real-world glimpse into business fundamentals. This event reaffirmed YFLO’s commitment to empowering the next generation with not just confidence, but also the practical skills required to thrive in a competitive and rapidly changing world.
