Objective
This initiative embeds sustainable, eco-conscious, and inclusive practices across sectors through a women-led approach under Project SHE – Sustain Her Earth. The initiative follows the path: ME → WE → COMMUNITY, rooted in the belief that small individual actions can collectively drive large-scale impact.
Scope of Work
Awareness & Education
Conducting workshops, drives, and campaigns to instill sustainable habits at an individual and community level.
Green Practices & Projects
Promoting eco-friendly alternatives such as recycling, upcycling, plantation drives, and waste reduction initiatives.
Women-Led Livelihoods
Enabling self-help groups and women entrepreneurs to create eco-products, linking sustainability with financial independence.
Community Impact
Collaborating with schools, civic bodies, and local communities to foster collective responsibility for environmental stewardship.
Long-term Commitment
Establishing systems for accountability, continuity, and scaling of sustainability initiatives across FLO chapters.
Inclusiveness
FLO promotes inclusiveness among women through its programs and workshops. It empowers women with disabilities, rural women, and hearing-impaired women. Overall, FLO works with women at levels such as grassroots, middle, and senior, focusing on skill development, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
