FICCI FLO, under the leadership of National President Ms. Poonam Sharma, organized the 11th virtual session of the gift packaging skilling workshop series, titled “Spiritual Gifting For A New India,” under the W.I.N.G.S (Women Innovating NextGen Weddings) initiative led by Ms. Shalini Beriwal.
This online session focused on teaching attendees about the art of spiritual gifting, which blends traditional spirituality with modern gifting needs. The virtual session helped participants understand how spiritual tools like crystals, scriptures, and sound instruments can serve as reminders to reconnect with one’s true self and power.
It featured various artists and creators who showcased their spiritual and eco-friendly products, such as calligraphy books of Indian wisdom, handmade plates, eco-friendly gift packaging, wind chimes tuned to specific musical notes, spiritual jewelry made from crystals, and sustainable diya lamps crafted from coconut shells.
A discussion occurred among the attendees regarding the difference between religious gifting and spiritual gifting. Spirituality is universal and meant for overall human wellness. On the other hand, religious gifts are tangible objects that are suitable for gifting on occasions, such as Diwali and Bhai Dooj.
This virtual session is a part of FLO Skilling in the Wedding Industry initiative, which empowers women by equipping them with the skills required in the wedding and allied industries. Participants learn these skills in order to generate income and foster self-reliance.
