FLO Kanpur, led by Chairperson Ms. Kriti Shroff, conducted Skillathon 2025, a skill-based career development initiative for high school students in North India. The program was designed to align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2023 and the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. Its goal was to equip students with essential 21st-century skills and empower them to make informed career choices.
The initiative began with an awareness phase and reached over 2,300 students across 10 schools in Kanpur through career-oriented workshops. Following this, 175 students from 8 schools were selected to participate in hands-on skill modules delivered by expert faculty from top institutions.
The program featured 4 future-ready domains including- Design & Innovation on May 10-11 at DPS Kalyanpur with Atlas SkillTech University, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning on May 10-11, at Allenhouse with BML Munjal University, Startup & Entrepreneurship on May 17-18, at Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre with Masters’ Union, and Stock Market & Financial Literacy on May 24-25, at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School with Masters’ Union.
On May 26, Skillathon 2025 conducted a felicitation ceremony at the Merchants’ Chamber, Kanpur, celebrating top performers and featuring a keynote by entrepreneur and author Mr. Ankur Warikoo.
