FICCI FLO Ludhiana, under the leadership of Chairperson Shweta Jindal (2025–26) and the Core Committee, participated in a meaningful initiative titled “Skill & Sell” at Paragon Waterfront. The initiative highlighted the creativity and skill of the neurodiverse community, featuring beautifully customized bags stitched by the talented children of Ashirwad for HOL by Aakriti & Anushka.
Through this initiative, FLO Ludhiana once again reinforced its commitment to empowerment, inclusivity, and sustainability. The children, trained under skill development programs, proudly showcased their eco-friendly cloth bags at the prestigious HOL Exhibition. Their work was widely appreciated by visitors for its creativity, craftsmanship, and eco-conscious approach.
FLO members went beyond exhibition support by personally engaging with the Ashirwad community. They spent a day with the children and teachers, training and mentoring them in new skills, which added immense value to the initiative. This hands-on involvement not only strengthened the skill development process but also fostered a bond of encouragement, care, and empowerment.
The collaboration not only brought attention to the artistic abilities of the Ashirwad children but also underlined the importance of creating livelihood opportunities through skill-building initiatives. By enabling differently-abled individuals to gain financial independence, FLO Ludhiana continues to pave the way for an inclusive society.
The enthusiasm, dedication, and talent displayed by the Ashirwad children stood as a true inspiration, reminding everyone of the power of inclusivity and the need to work collectively towards a more sustainable and compassionate future. Flo Ludhiana acted as a catalyst in providing significant platforms that nurture creativity, encourage entrepreneurship, and support the neurodiverse community in achieving financial Independence. Around 300 members attended this workshop and supported the Neurodiverse community.
