FLO Amritsar, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Mona Singh, organized a month-long workshop that commenced on 7 August at Missiondeep. It was conducted under SAKSHAMTA – ‘Hunar ki Lakshmi,’ Project Wings, Urban & Rural Skilling initiatives. The session was led by Reetu (Mehendi Artist) and coordinated by Shraddha.
Key activities included training sessions, design demonstrations, and practice workshops. Around 40 girls participated in the mehendi skill training workshop. This mehndi skill training workshop is a part of the FLO Sustainability & Inclusivity Initiative, which focuses on embedding sustainable, eco-conscious, and inclusive practices across sectors through a women-led approach under Project SHE – Sustain Her Earth.
