FICCI FLO, under the leadership of the 42nd National President, Ms. Poonam Sharma, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mukul Madhav Foundation, an Indian charitable trust that has been serving in India for rural healthcare and women empowerment for 25 years. MMF is also the CSR partner of Finolex Industries.
Both parties signed a second-year MoU in the presence of Ms. Poonam Sharma, national president, FICCI FLO; Ms. Joyshree Das Verma, Former President, FICCI FLO; Chapter Chairs, Governing Body members, FICCI FLO Secretariat, Mr. Saurabh Dhanorkar – MD, Finolex Industries, Mr. Chandan Verma – CFO, Finolex Industries, Mr. D.V. Iyer – Company Secretary, Finolex Industries, Ms. Shalom Paul, and Babalu Mokale from Mukul Madhav Foundation.
The partnership of FICCI FLO and MMF will focus on the shared goal of fostering women empowerment across India. Also, it will create a sustainable livelihood in society. This MoU is a part of the FLO Rural Skilling & Agripreneurship initiative, which focuses on equipping rural women with skills and knowledge to earn a livelihood and contribute meaningfully to their communities. This initiative empowers women to achieve self-reliance and economic independence.
