FICCI FLO Kolkata, in collaboration with Apni Kutir, has launched its new skilling centre dedicated to empowering women with tools for economic independence. The centre offers a diverse range of vocational courses including beautician and makeup artistry, stitching, mehendi, digital skills, and even training for Zomato delivery partners.
Emphasising holistic development, the initiative also integrates yoga and meditation into its curriculum to foster both professional and personal well-being. A total of 200 women benefited through this skilling initiative after getting enrolled in various courses.
This initiative is part of a broader effort by FICCI FLO to foster women’s economic empowerment and leadership through various programs and collaborations. FLO Kolkata issued a statement: “This centre is our promise to empower women at every level. We are providing the skills and confidence they need to build self-reliant futures.”
