FICCI FLO Lucknow, under the leadership of Ms. Vandita Agarwal, proudly inaugurated a dedicated skilling unit of Trashury in the village to empower local girls with training to help them earn a sustainable livelihood. Mrs Puja Garg, Senior Vice President, FICCI FLO, and Mrs Charu Chaturevdi, Vice President of the State Women Commission, UP, also led the inauguration event to support Trashury initiative for encouraging women empowerment.
Right now, Trashury has three units in Lucknow with plans to expand nationally. This initiative provided hands-on learning opportunities in various trades, fostering self-reliance and economic independence. Also, other members from FLO Lucknow were present at this event, reinforcing FLO’s commitment to creating meaningful pathways for women’s empowerment at the grassroots level.
Trashury is an initiative which empowers women by teaching them about turning recycled plastic waste into eco-friendly products. Also, it promotes self-reliance and inclusive community growth for women. The collaboration of FLO Lucknow and Trashury will be continued in the future.
