FLO Chennai, led by Chairperson Ms. Niyati A. Mehta, organized an informative virtual session titled “GST Basic Masterclass for Women Entrepreneurs”, attended by 71 members. Members from other FLO chapters also joined the session seeking for practical understanding of GST and its application in their business.
The session, under the MSME vertical, was led by CA Shankara Narayanan V, who discussed the complexities of GST in simple, relatable concepts. His practical approach and real-world examples made the topic accessible, ensuring that even those unfamiliar with tax matters could grasp the essentials with ease. The session was highly interactive, with participants raising numerous queries, all of which were addressed by the speaker.
The event was anchored by Ms. Sheethal, and a vote of thanks was delivered by Secretary Ms. Pratibha, who acknowledged the contributions of all involved and emphasized the importance of building financial awareness among women entrepreneurs.
