‘Ghar Se Bazaar Tak’ – Empowering Young Women in Sales, Marketing & Branding

FLO Vadodara, led by Shivani P. Patel, in collaboration with Jumpstart Foundation, organized ‘Ghar Se Bazaar Tak’, a workshop aimed at empowering young women with practical skills in sales, marketing, communication, brand building, real-world examples and practical exercises to help them take their business ideas from home to market. 12 young girls attended the sessions and 100% participated in live activities and discussions. Business ideas were developed by all participants in 3 groups.

The workshop featured sessions led by FLO Vadodara members and Guest Speakers – Varsha Sharda and Roma Shah. On the first day, Sharda covered simple frameworks in sales strategy, customer engagement, and branding on a budget. Shah led participants through understanding retail concepts, an interactive logo recall game, and a case study on the brand Rubans by Chinu Kala.

Participants were given two assignments to work on:

My Business Folder: Product idea, pitch, customer plan, logo concept.

Instagram Watchlist: Observe successful women-led brands on Instagram.

On the second day, Sharda conducted live pitch practices and helped participants refine their product ideas and customer targeting. Shah reviewed insights from the Instagram Watchlist and led a group discussion on what appealed visually and emotionally, encouraging participants to adopt practical takeaways.

The ‘Ghar Se Bazaar Tak’ workshop was an engaging and empowering experience that blended practical learning with confidence-building.
