Future Frontiers Conclave: Empower. Innovate. Sustain

FICCI FLO, under the leadership of National President Ms. Poonam Sharma, in collaboration with Chatra Sansad, Galgotias University, and The Logical Indian, organized “Future Frontiers Conclave” to spotlight women and youth as the key drivers for India’s development and its future. The conclave brought influential people together from government, industry, academia, diplomacy, civil society, and youth groups to have impactful discussions on India’s path towards Viksit Bharat 2047. 

The event comprised panel discussions, white paper releases, and the display of innovation from India. It served more than as a conclave; it became a platform to inspire participants to adopt forward-thinking mindsets. The main topics covered in the conclave focused on AI, sustainability, spirituality, governance, and STEM.

Future Frontiers Conclave was initiated with the opening addresses of representatives from Chatra Sansad and Galgotias University, underscoring the importance of empowering young minds to take active roles in nation-building. National President of FICCI FLO, Ms. Poonam Sharma, delivered the presidential address by outlining FLO’s vision and the significance of this conclave. She emphasized the organization’s commitment to fostering leadership, innovation, and inclusivity among women and youth across the country.

Then, Minister Shri Kiren Rijuju delivered an impactful speech to inspire the youth and women to actively participate in India’s growth narrative. He said: “India is well on track to become the third-largest economy, and women-led development is central to the government’s agenda.” He officially released two white papers—titled “Women in STEM and India’s Growth Vision” and “From Grassroots to Green Jobs”—alongside Ms. Smriti Puri (National Treasurer, FICCI FLO) and Ms. Mamta Bakliwal (Lead, Women in STEM initiative, FICCI FLO). 

The conclave was chaired by Rutvi Vyas and Namrata Mishra, along with the support of team members Ambar Pariddi Sahai, Ankita Khabia, Meghna Singhania, Surbhi Bhadauria, and Anupama Modi. Sister BK Shivani delivered a speech on spiritual balance in leadership. The spiritual guide inspired the youth to cultivate mindfulness, reduce the overuse of smartphones, and make purpose-driven decisions. 

Also, Group Captain, Mr. Shubhanshu Shukla, delivered a powerful speech on leadership while sharing his tough experiences from his missions with ISRO. He inspired the youth to take on challenges and become the leaders for facilitating a bright future for India. His journey and vision left the young minds motivated and proud. 

After that, a panel discussion took place based on the theme: Empower, Innovate, and Sustain, with the following moderator and panelists:

Top Highlights of Panel Discussion 

  1. Mr. Ankur Warikoo shared his personal stories of overcoming challenges and navigating failure as a YouTuber and content creator. 
  2. Mr. Shombi Sharp discussed the role of youth in driving sustainable development and ethical governance. He highlighted the need for inclusive growth to sustain India’s economic and social momentum.
  3. Dr. Kiran Bedi emphasized the importance of ethical leadership and community engagement in governance. Additionally, she advocated for empowering women and youth to take an active role in societal development.
  4. Ms. Salona Chandna focused on the role of technology and innovation in fostering sustainable development. She discussed the importance of strategic partnerships in addressing global challenges.
  5. Ms. Dipa Singh Bagai highlighted grassroots innovations in climate resilience, particularly in rural areas. Also, she advocated for equitable access to resources and collaborative efforts in climate action.
  6. Mr. Sunil Sethi explored the intersection of creativity and sustainability in the fashion industry. He advocated for inclusive growth and the role of design in societal transformation.

The panel discussion concluded with an interactive Q&A session, which allowed attendees to ask questions to the panelists, and The Logical Indian presented the Nation Builders Awards to honour individuals for their contributions to our society. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Ankurita Pathak for her exceptional role as the EMCEE, bringing energy and seamless coordination to the event. 

Future Frontiers Conclave is a testament to FICCI FLO’s commitment towards facilitating change among women and youth to shape a brighter future for India by equipping them with knowledge and important resources. Around 1500 attendees were present at the conclave, including FLO members, industry leaders, diplomats, policy makers, and students.
