FLO Jaipur, led by Chairperson Dr. Rimmi Shekhawat inaugurated FLO Charcha, a celebration of voice, vision, and values. This event launched the Chapter’s 365-day action blueprint for empowering women across rural, middle, and urban segments. Key highlights of the event were the theme-centric dialogue, leadership address, grassroots empowerment & inclusion, and visionary discussions.
The program featured the health initiative “Health is Her Right” which included FLO Chakshu, an initiative dedicated to restoring the gift of sight, and aims to conduct vision screening and eye care camps for
artisans (shilpkars) and their families. The initiative also featured FLO Jeevan Raksha Van, a mobile health unit, launched with the support of the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan. This van will provide daily health screenings for over 100 women across the state.
FLO Amritam is a wellness conclave for women and is a celebration of mental, physical, and emotional well-being. It will bring together doctors, therapists, healers, and thought leaders for immersive
sessions.
FLO Aranya is one of the sustainable projects introduced and a step toward ecological harmony. It is a green initiative that will establish a dense, self-sustaining forest using the Miyawaki technique. To honor Earth
Day, the chapter will conduct a tree plantation drive, planting 1,000 saplings across Jaipur and surrounding areas.
The program also introduced Heritage & Skill Development, celebrating heritage, and crafting legacy; FLO Rajwada Vows, a wedding-themed celebration of women-centric rituals, legacies, and elegance; and FLO
Shilpshala, a platform to skill, empower, and uplift women artisans, Shilpshala offers hands-on training and business development support in traditional
crafts.
