Digital Saathi: A Program For Boosting Digital Confidence Among Women

FLO Bangalore, under the leadership of Chairperson Dekyi Yangtso Chawla, hosted a series of Digital Saathi sessions to teach essential digital and financial skills to women participants. The digital awareness and literacy sessions had attendees from four communities in Ejipura, Mandur, Whitefield, and Kithiganur between 17-31 May. 

This training covered smartphone basics and essential online services for health, finance, and daily life, bridging the digital divide. BBMP and Anganwadi workers were also part of this training. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and smiles were palpable!

A total of 70 women from grassroots communities benefited from the Digital Saathi sessions, as it helped them to improve their daily lives in today’s tech-driven world. This program equipped women with essential digital skills to get good earning opportunities. Digital Saathi is like a bridge to empowerment, as it creates a safe space to learn and grow using technology. Also, this program is aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
