FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Niyati A. Mehta, the event “Wedding Futures,” held at Welcome Hotel, with 150 members created a meaningful platform to promote inclusion and empower communities. One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Danirasa Foundation, which works with individuals on the autism spectrum and those who are differently abled.
This non-profit organization highlighted its handcrafted thambulam bags, round bags, and wire baskets, with every creation symbolizing resilience, creativity, and a revitalized sense of confidence. Danisara has created an Instagram page through which they have been receiving more orders and visibility.
FLO Chennai has supported some of the training of women in villages through this foundation. Their stall attracted significant attention and appreciation from the 150 attendees at the event. It not only generated good sales but also served as a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion and the incredible outcomes that can emerge when people are given the opportunity to express their skills and creativity.
