FLO Hyderabad Chairperson Ms. Prathibha Kunda hosted a session on “Crafting Characters and Shaping Stories” with celebrity theater and film actress Ms. Ratna Pathak Shah. This inaugural event for the year was attended by 254 members.
Ms. Prathibha Kunda engaged in a candid tête-à-tête with Ms. Ratna Pathak Shah, who shared thought-provoking insights on life, art, and societal evolution. She began by reflecting on the art of storytelling, emphasizing the power of clear, purposeful communication. Drawing from her own experiences and observations, she highlighted the need for individuals to discover and nurture their unique voice. She believes home-grown businesses play a crucial role in India’s economy by preserving traditional skills and offering a unique lens to experience life.
Ms. Prathibha Kunda also touched upon FLO’s consistent efforts in supporting artisans and Indian handicrafts. She expressed her love for Indian crafts and handlooms not just for their beauty, but for reflecting the ethos: “Apni mehnat ki khao, apni mehnat ki pehno.” Addressing the ongoing pursuit of gender equality, Shah remarked that this is still a new concept in human history. She emphasized that change begins at home, and men must be prepared for a world of empowered women.
