FLO Pune, led by member Ms. Kalyanee Umrani, conducted a specialised cosmetology training session for the female students of the ITI Girls College, Aundh. This certification course was a part of the urban skilling initiative for empowering young girls with the tools, training, and mentorship to transition from education to employment. Also, this initiative focused on fulfilling the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The cosmetology training session covered advanced makeup techniques, hygiene practices, and professional skills essential to the beauty and wellness industry. This impactful training, facilitated free of cost, came with certifications valued at ₹51,000. A total of 35 girls of the ITI Girls College benefited from this urban skilling initiative.
Students benefitted from detailed, hands-on instruction and left the session enriched with both practical knowledge and confidence. Also, this session helped participants by boosting their confidence and fostering self-reliance.
