FLO Coimbatore, under the leadership of Chairperson Aparna Sunku, organised a vibrant and memorable bridal mehendi workshop curated by the FLO Skilling Team, headed by Preetha Badrinathan. The venue, Sevanilayam school, was adorned with festive décor, music, and a joyful ambience that set the perfect tone for learning.
An advanced course for college students and a beginner’s course for school students was conducted by leading bridal make-up artist Ms Helen and her team to teach them the art of bridal henna. The students, quick to grasp, excelled in their work and showcased impressive creativity. Young women at the workshop got the opportunity to learn skills that create opportunities and independence.
They were encouraged to start taking up clients, transforming this art into an opportunity. A truly fulfilling day of learning, empowerment, and celebration, impacting 43 grassroots students. This workshop is a part of FICCI FLO’s skilling initiative, which empowers young women with skills that create opportunities and independence.
