FLO Hyderabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Prathibha Kunda, attended The Anshukam Exhibition, held at The Ashok, New Delhi. It served as a vibrant platform for traditional artisans and contemporary designers. FLO Hyderabad’s Dokra Initiative’ Stall (Stall 30) received an encouraging response, with an estimated footfall of 180–200 visitors, reflecting the event’s wide reach and strong engagement with art and craft enthusiasts.
The timeless craft of Dokra drew immense appreciation and curiosity, sparking meaningful
interactions and knowledge exchange about the art form. While there was a sale of 4
products at the stall, the deeper value lay in the interest of visitors who expressed a keen
desire to purchase later, particularly as gifts. Several visitors collected contact details for
future orders, and this translated almost immediately into results—one client from Delhi
placed an order for two Dokra pen stands after the exhibition.
This thoughtful gesture of choosing handcrafted Dokra pieces as gifts highlights the growing appreciation for sustainable and artisan-made products. The participation and dedication of artisans Nagarjuna and Eknath added authenticity and value, making the stall a true representation of living craft traditions.
