FLO Amritsar, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Mona Singh, organized a special plantation drive, “Planting Hope for the Future,” at Dignity Homes, Amritsar. This plantation drive focused on promoting environmental awareness, intergenerational inclusivity, and community welfare. It was a joint initiative of Dignity Homes and FLO Amritsar.
100 trees were planted symbolizing growth and hope. On the other hand, four elderly members joined Dignity Homes. This plantation drive is a part of FLO Sustainability & Inclusivity Across All Initiatives, which focuses on instilling sustainable habits at an individual and community level.
The initiative follows the path: ME → WE → COMMUNITY, rooted in the belief that small individual actions can collectively drive large-scale impact. Also, this initiative supports other eco-friendly alternatives such as recycling, upcycling, and waste reduction initiatives.
