FICCI FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Niyati A. Mehta, is proud to announce the successful completion of the “Lab in a Backpack” STEM Program. The program reached 9 government schools, engaging a total of 888 enthusiastic students in an immersive hands-on science learning experience.
The sessions were thoughtfully structured to combine both theoretical and practical learning, allowing students to explore science in a creative and interactive way. The program covered a diverse range of STEM topics, including:
- Measurement
- Force and Motion
- Matter Around Us
- Robotics
- Atomic Structure
- Flying Objects
Each session included classroom teaching followed by engaging practical experiments, enabling students to connect scientific concepts with real-world applications. The students participated with great enthusiasm and curiosity, demonstrating keen interest and active involvement throughout the sessions.
At the conclusion of the program, feedback forms were collected from all participating students to assess their learning experience and the overall impact of the initiative. The feedback reflected a highly positive response, with students expressing their excitement and appreciation for the opportunity to learn science in such an engaging and innovative way.
