FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Niyati A. Mehta, hosted the event “Wedding Futures” at Welcome Hotel, with 150 members creating a meaningful platform to promote inclusion and empower communities. One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Sankalp Trust, an organization that works with individuals on the autism spectrum and those who are differently abled.
Sankalp’s collection was a vibrant and creative showcase of handmade products, including bags, hand-painted terracotta cups, coasters, serving trays, keychains, and other unique home décor items. Each piece, from the intricate patterns to the rich colors, was a testament to the artistry, patience, and dedication of the talented individuals behind them.
With the guidance of one of our members, Sankalp Trust has created an Instagram page through which they have been receiving more orders and visibility. Their stall attracted significant attention and appreciation from the 150 attendees at the event. It not only generated good sales but also served as a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion. FLO is proud to support this through the DNI vertical.
