FICCI FLO, under the leadership of 42nd National President, Ms. Poonam Sharma, in collaboration with The Institute of Directors (IOD), completed the 2nd batch for its five-day boardroom training program, “FLO Women Independent Directors Masterclass,” focusing on creating board-ready leaders. This masterclass was designed exclusively for FLO members across India to transform them into certified corporate directors. (In-House Batch No. 121, Overall Batch No. 523)
This IOD’s flagship program strengthened boardroom competencies across Company Law, board responsibilities, risk management, ESG, financial literacy, and strategic leadership, along with practical simulation exercises. It encouraged the participants to embark on stronger roles to shape boardroom strategy and decision-making.
The first three sessions took place on 25th, 26th, and 27th July virtually. The remaining two sessions occurred virtually on 02nd and 03rd August. This program was made possible due to the tireless efforts of Ms. Usharani Manne, Initiative Lead – FLO Women Directors initiative, along with the support of Ms. Shobha Jolly, Co-Chair, Ms. Sujitha Reddy, and Ms. Neha Reddy.
This program is a part of FICCI FLO’s efforts towards boosting women’s representation on corporate boards and in senior leadership through targeted training and mentorship for gender diversity.
