FOMO to Fortune: Ditch the Debt, Build the Wealth – Smarter Choices, Brighter Future

FLO Coimbatore, led by Chairperson Aparna Sunku, in collaboration with Nippon India Mutual Fund, organized a session titled “FOMO to Fortune: Ditch the Debt, Build the Wealth – Smarter Choices, Brighter Future” at VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, Kovaipudur. The program aimed to spread financial awareness among students and encourage smarter money management.

In her special address, Ms. Meena Swaminathan, Immediate Past Chairperson, FLO Coimbatore, lauded the college for promoting financial literacy among youth. Chief Guest Mr. Anand Narasimhan, Cluster Head – ROTN, Nippon AMC, delivered an insightful talk on financial planning, debt management, and strategies for building sustainable wealth.

Dr. D. Kalaivani, Principal, stressed financial discipline as a life skill, while Dr. D. Brindha, Director of Academics and Research, urged students to apply knowledge for independent decision-making. The interactive session saw enthusiastic student participation through discussions on investments, savings, and wealth creation. The program was well-received as part of the college’s continuous efforts to integrate financial literacy and entrepreneurship into student development.
