Fuelling the Future of Women-led MSMEs
Objective
The FLO MSME Assist Cell is designed to strengthen, sustain, and scale women-led Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing them with a comprehensive support ecosystem. The cell aims to:
- Build the capacity of women entrepreneurs through focused training, skilling, and mentoring.
- Facilitate marketing opportunities for women-led enterprises to expand their reach.
- Improve access to funding, credit, and government schemes, ensuring that women entrepreneurs benefit from available resources.
- Create platforms for visibility, networking, and collaborations, thereby enhancing the sustainability of women-owned MSMEs.
- Recognizing and celebrating women-led Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for their contribution in economic development by hosting annual MSME awards and other interactive sessions.
Scope of Work
The Cell works across four dimensions to support women-led MSMEs:
Training & Mentoring
- Conducting sector-specific training programs to build business acumen, financial literacy, and operational efficiency.
- Providing one-on-one and group mentoring sessions with industry experts and established MSME leaders.
- Special workshops are held for women entrepreneurs focusing on digital skilling, financial management, government schemes, and a variety of business subjects.
Access to Finance & Schemes
- Facilitating awareness about government policies, subsidies, and reimbursement schemes.
- Assisting members in preparing applications, registrations, and documentation to avail these benefits.
- Enabling linkages with banks, NBFCs, and investors for credit support.
Marketing & Market Linkages
- Creating opportunities through exhibitions, trade fairs, and curated marketplaces for FLO members.
- Supporting women entrepreneurs with digital platforms, branding, and promotion strategies.
- Building collaborations with corporates for procurement and vendor opportunities.
Networking & Advocacy
- Representing women-led MSMEs at industry forums, policy discussions, and trade delegations.
- Building collaborations with government bodies, chambers, and institutions to advocate for women entrepreneurs.
