Amplifying Women’s Voices in Governance, Law, and Policy Reform
Objective
The FLO Policy, Advocacy & Legal Initiative aims to empower women by advocating for gender-responsive policies, improving access to justice, and ensuring fair representation in governance and leadership. Through strategic engagement with stakeholders, the government bodies, and civil society, FLO works to dismantle systemic barriers and create an equitable socio-economic environment for women.
Scope of Work
Policy Engagement & Dialogue
Partnering with think tanks, ministries, and lawmakers to frame and influence progressive policies supporting women in business, leadership, and the workforce.
Legal Awareness & Aid
Organising legal literacy camps and workshops on women's rights, cyber safety, domestic violence, workplace harassment, property, and inheritance laws.
Capacity Building
Training women in leadership, governance, and political participation, with a focus on enhancing their role in decision-making spaces.
Advocacy Campaigns
Leading awareness initiatives on key issues like gender equality, economic inclusion, and legal reform to ensure women’s voices are heard.
FLO Kavach Support
Offering on-demand guidance and referrals in legal matters through the FLO Kavach ecosystem, including legal helpdesks and expert panels.
Collaborations
FLO collaborates with government portals, such as the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), to host workshops to educate women entrepreneurs on legal and compliance-related topics.
