A Certified Workshop for Business & Marketing 

FLO Delhi hosted an exclusive national event, “Certified Workshop for Business & Marketing,” in association with the Masters’ Union, a leading tech and business school recognised for providing access to real-world industry exposure and transformative opportunities through its programs. 

This workshop was held at the FICCI Federation House in New Delhi to provide real insights and practical strategies about branding, digital marketing, and business innovation to FLO members and women entrepreneurs. 

Day chair, Ms. Reena M Vashisht, who is also a national governing body member of FLO and Executive Director, Ms. Rashmi Sarita, started the high-impact session by welcoming participants and highlighting the role of branding and marketing in shaping a business’s growth.

  • Dr. Bhupesh Manoharan – IIM Calcutta alumnus and business strategy expert, currently mentoring future leaders at the Masters’ Union.
  • Dr. Kashika S– A digital branding specialist and IIM Ahmedabad graduate, known for her expertise in consumer behaviour. Currently working as an Assistant Professor of Management at the Masters’ Union. 
  • Mr. Vikas Marwaha – IIM Calcutta alumnus and business strategist with vast experience driving business growth across India, Nepal, and the Middle East.

Key Highlights Of Workshop

  • Drawing from her MBA background and entrepreneurial experience, Ms. Reena M Vashisht emphasised that effective branding paired with the right marketing strategy can capture significant market share for a business. Also, her planning and energy made this workshop successful.
  • First speaker, Dr. Bhupesh Manoharan, led an interactive session on the power of brand identity. He stated: “Brand is a promise made by the market, believed by the consumers, and kept by the market.” Dr. Bhupesh introduced attendees to the Brand Identity Prism, a strategic framework defining six key facets—physique, personality, culture, relationship, reflection, and self-image—to help companies build enduring brands.
  • Second speaker, Dr. Kashika S, led a session on maintaining the right founder’s voice in branding of a company. She highlighted that founders have an important role in shaping and communicating their brand identity. She stated, “A good brand identity starts with the founder’s voice, vision, mission, and values.” Ms. Kashika encouraged FLO members to leverage online marketing strategies and consistently share their brand narratives to build trust with consumers.
  • The third speaker, Mr. Vikas Marwaha, emphasised the importance of building a holistic marketing ecosystem for a company. It can help brands achieve success with small teams. Also, he added that identifying the right customer niche is crucial for sustainable business success. 

Impact & Outcomes 

The workshop, led by both FICCI FLO and the Masters’ Union members, benefited around 30 women entrepreneurs as they learned about crafting brand identities. They actively engaged with the speakers and received personalised recommendations for the branding and marketing of their ventures. 

At the end, attendees were awarded certificates of completion for validating their learning. This workshop underscored FICCI FLO’s mission to equip women with the knowledge, confidence, and tools needed to build sustainable and growth-oriented brands.
