MOU Signing with Kanpur Nagar Nigam for Swachh Saathi: A Community Awakening Drive

FLO Kanpur, under the leadership of Chairperson Kriti Shroff, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kanpur Nagar Nigam for a community-driven initiative focusing on waste segregation and civic awareness. This partnership fostered responsible citizenship and strengthened environmental consciousness among the people of Kanpur. The event is a part of both FICCI FLO’s sustainability and urban skilling initiatives dedicated to citizens and children living in Kanpur city.

Also, it featured a special address by Dr. Amit Gaur, Nagar Swasth Adhikari, who highlighted the vital link between public health, sanitation, and community responsibility. At the heart of this collaboration lies “Swachh Saathi: A Community Awakening Drive for Citizens. Children. Change.” It is a pioneering program encouraging school children and citizens alike to step into civic awareness roles and adopt sustainable waste management practices.

Past Chair Archana Khaitan, Senior Vice Chair Ankita Garg, Vice Chair Sushma Singh, Committee Members Gunjan and Parul Rajoriya, along with Event Chair Meenu Jhunjhunwala and Policy Vertical Head Dr. Shefali Raj, joined hands to make this initiative and collaboration possible through their presence and support.

Internship is provided to students from Speakwel under the Swach Saathi program to protect the environment through the safe disposal of various waste materials. They will work for a good cause by keeping Kanpur city clean for the public.
