Tree Plantation Drive

FLO Vadodara, led by Chairperson Shivani P. Patel, organized a Tree Plantation Drive under the National Initiative– Sustainability and Inclusivity across all Initiatives at the CISF Camp, Vadodara, powered by Exechon. The event featured Ms. Nidhi Singh, Co-founder & CEO at Grow Billion Trees, as the speaker. This initiative aimed to encourage environmental responsibility and contribute to a greener, healthier future through tree plantation.

Under this initiative, 47 women, along with Exechon, collectively planted 1,200 trees at the CISF Camp. The event was joined by Shree Krishna Prakash, Deputy Commandant CASO (Chief Aerodrome Security Officer) of Vadodara Airport, as the Chief Guest. He has been serving at the CISF Unit ASG Baroda for the past 2 years and has brought inspiration to the occasion.

This initiative was carried out in collaboration with Grow Billion Trees, a reputed organization committed to ecological restoration. The organization will not only oversee the plantation but also ensure proper maintenance of the saplings for 3 years.

The drive saw the participation and was a step towards building urban forests, reducing carbon footprints, and enhancing biodiversity. Trees act as natural air filters, provide shade, prevent soil erosion, and significantly improve air quality, making plantation efforts like this essential for urban well-being and ecological balance.
