FLO Lucknow, on the occasion of Earth Day 2025 and in the presence of the Vice Chairperson of the UP Women’s Commission Ms. Aparna Yadav, adopted a resolution to commit to environmental sustainability and a greener Lucknow.
FLO Lucknow pledged to plant 6,000 saplings across 20 schools and 10 public parks, supported by FLO members, students, and local volunteers. The initiative includes an educational awareness campaign through workshops, rallies, and street performances focused on eco-conscious living.
To ensure long-term impact, quarterly “Green Checkpoints” the chapter will monitor progress, supported by collaborations with NGOs, local media, and government bodies. FLO Lucknow also announced its participation in Vanmahotsava Week from July 1-7, 2025, with detailed locations to be finalized soon in coordination with civic authorities.
