FLO Jaipur, led by Chairperson Dr. Rimmi Shekhawat on the occasion of Earth Day, under the chapter’s theme of ‘Heritage, Health, and Harmony’, launched FLO VASUDHA is a celebration rooted in sustainability, culture, and conscious living, attended by 80 women.
The event was organized in collaboration with Anantaya and curated by Dhunlife, as part of the larger sustainability initiative titled Maahi Roj. FLO VASUDHA embodied a call to return to Indigenous wisdom, natural materials, mindful choices, and a relationship with the planet.
The highlight of FLO VASUDHA was the Swaraj Session, an activity-based workshop led by a green architect TEDx speaker, and Co-founder of SwarajAr. Gaurav Shorey shared a 3-hour keynote and an interactive session. Ar. Gaurav Shorey emphasized 5 pillars of sustainable living – Bhasha (Language), Bhavan (Dwellings), Bhesh (Dress), Bhojan (Food), and Bhajan (Arts & Rituals). Geetanjali Kasliwal, Founder of Maahi Roj, shared her journey of reconnecting with Earth and the importance of thoughtful design.
Members explored a curated sustainable Material Library showcasing bio-based, future-forward materials by Anantaya. PADARTH pop-ups featured innovative products from eco-conscious designers and artisans.
The event featured a session titled “Traditional Attire Activity – Bhesh Reimagined” that included hands-on activity for the celebration of regional, traditional clothing as a form of cultural identity.
