FLO Chennai, in collaboration with the Women’s India Association (WIA), hosted an event that highlighted both environmental awareness and community empowerment on the occasion of World Biodiversity Day. The event was participated by 45 people.
The event featured a graduation ceremony of the Geriatric Nurse Training program, an initiative sponsored by FLO over the past year. The key highlight of the program was the address by 12-year-old environmentalist Nidhi Singh, who spoke about tree plantation and its benefits. Ms. Unnikrishnan shared her insights, encouraging collective action towards preserving biodiversity. FLO members Ms. Chitra Gopinath and Ms. Naina Shah coordinated the event.
