FLO Kolkata, led by Chairperson Ms. Nidhi Jhunjhunwala, in association with 85 Lansdowne, hosted an event that celebrated the revival of “Repoussé,” a dying art form of intricately hand-hammered metalwork, reimagined by the acclaimed artist and designer, Vikram Goyal.
Mr. Goyal presented a collection of traditional crafts, using brass to create artistic and modern forms that captivated the audience. The event was attended by 120 members, who were inspired by the seamless blend of heritage and contemporary design.
This successful collaboration marks a step towards supporting and reviving the invaluable handicrafts of India.
