Solar Panel Installation Project

FLO Jaipur has launched the Solar Energy Project, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering women, mitigating environmental disasters, and fostering sustainability. This initiative focuses on providing off-grid solar energy solutions in rural Rajasthan, starting with the Mahatma Gandhi Govt. School, Household at Village Kheerwa in the Jaipur district.

Key Objectives:

1. Empower Women: Enable women to utilize renewable energy for productive activities like stitching units, and improving livelihoods.
2. Promote Sustainability: Reduce reliance on fossil fuels by introducing clean, renewable solar energy.
3. Improve Living Standards: Ensure continuous electricity access for rural households and schools.
4. Expand Reach: Target 22 districts of Rajasthan to install 2.6 kW solar panels by 2024-25.

Environmental Sustainability Impact:

FLO Jaipur aims to install 22 solar panels by the end of 2024-25, positively impacting an estimated 80 beneficiaries in rural Rajasthan.
