Sky’s Not The Limit

FLO Bangalore, under the leadership of Chairperson Dekyi Yangtso Chawla, launched the DGCA Drone Pilot Training Program, a week-long, hands-on initiative designed to skill and empower women from rural and semi-urban areas by transforming them into certified drone pilots. This initiative was made possible through strategic partnerships and collaborations with Neosky and KLE College, ensuring both technical expertise and academic support.

The training opened doors to high-potential careers in aerial mapping, agriculture, surveillance, and cinematography—industries where women remain vastly underrepresented. For the participants, this was not just about flying drones, but about discovering confidence, independence, and new aspirations. This is a unique program from FLO Bangalore, which aims at equipping women with employable skills and fostering self-reliance.
