FICCI FLO National President Ms. Poonam Sharma commenced her first official chapter visit of the year with an impactful engagement at the FLO Northeast Chapter in Guwahati, marking the launch of the transformative Project Dosti under the leadership of Chapter Chairperson Ms. Rashmi Manchanda. A visionary youth-led initiative, Project DOSTI is dedicated to empowering marginalized students by providing access to laptops and a structured digital curriculum.
The project, which has received recognition from Harvard University, has already positively impacted over 100,000 lives nationwide. In collaboration with Northeast Network, Snehalaya, Blue Ladder Trust, and SGPC, the initiative aims to benefit 230 children across Assam. As part of the launch, eight laptops were distributed, and students from various centers participated virtually to celebrate this milestone moment.
The event was graced by Immediate National Past President Ms. Joyshree Das Verma, Past Chairperson of FLO Northeast and Former MP Ms. Queen Oja, members of FLO Northeast Chapter, and other distinguished guests and partners.
