MindShare was delivered as a series of workshops on Public Speaking and Storytelling by TEDx Licensee and Curator, Viiveck Verma. 16 members got group and one-on-one coaching sessions with Viiveck over a
The first workshop was held on July 30th in which Viiveck took the participants through the nuances of speaking, body language, tonal modulation, expression and more. Members were asked to prepare a 3-minute talk for the second Workshop on August 9th post which the Mentor gave individual feedback to each participant. Thereafter, one-on-one sessions of 60 mins.each were held for each participant by the Mentor. Participants could clarify all their doubts and identify areas of improvement. Next came an 8-minute talk before an external Jury on August 20th.The Jury comprised of:
1) Ch. Sushil Rao, a TEDx speaker and Editor – Special Reports, The Times of India, Hyderabad
2) Taher Ali Baig, a Theatre Director, Screenwriter, Playwright and Filmmaker
3) Shilpa Nainani, Anchor, Moderator, Presenter, and certified NLP-based Life Coach
4) Viiveck Verma, TEDx curator, Hyderabad, Corporate strategist and Start-up enthusiast
Participants were adjudged on the following parameters – the topic chosen, body language, clarity of message, confidence, audience connection, voice modulation and pause, and closing message.
The narratives were bold, honest and confident, captivating the audience and the Jury who whole-heartedly appreciated the speakers and the effort that went into the Program.
Five participants were selected by the Jury, who will go on to present their stories before a wider audience of FLO members on the 28th of August, 2024.
