FLO Vadodara & Western Railways – 6,000 Tree Plantation Drive

FLO Vadodara, in collaboration with Western Railways, organized its second tree plantation drive of FY 2025–26 under FLO’s National Initiative – Sustainability. A total of 6,000 saplings were planted across railway land in Vadodara to develop a long-term green corridor. This tree plantation is a pledge to safeguard the future. The initiative reinforces FLO’s nationwide dedication to sustainability, emphasizing the reduction of carbon footprints, promotion of recycling, and expansion of green cover.

Transforming under-utilized railway land into thriving green belts is expected to improve air quality, support biodiversity, and strengthen climate resilience in the region. The drive was graced by FLO Vadodara office bearers and committee members, alongside senior Western Railways officials, including Shri Neeraj Dhamija (ADRM/BRC/WR), Dr. Deepali Tewari Tyagi (CMS/BRC/WR), Shri Anil Kumar (Sr. DME/BRC/WR), and Shri Amit Ranjan (ADME/BRC/WR).

Through this second tree plantation drive of the financial year, FLO Vadodara reaffirmed its mission to integrate sustainability with community empowerment, ensuring that environmental action today creates a meaningful legacy for generations to come.
