Women entrepreneurs and professionals came together for an unforgettable evening with Mrs. Falguni Nayar, Founder & CEO of Nykaa. The hall was charged with energy, positivity, and curiosity, as members eagerly absorbed her stories of courage, motherhood, reinvention, and business acumen.

- Motherhood & Balance: She admitted that sometimes neighbors babysat her twins, but her message was clear: “Juggle with joy — you can be ambitious and still give your children time and love.”
- The Entrepreneurial Leap: Inspired by meeting entrepreneurs in her banking career, she took bold risks, started Nykaa frugally, and followed her intuition to fill a white space in the beauty industry.
- Leadership in Crisis: During Covid, despite losses, she retained all her staff, fought for beauty to be labeled essential, and pivoted Nykaa’s website to adapt to Red & Green zones.
- Future & AI: She shared her tech-forward mindset: “I watch one hour of AI videos daily.” At Nykaa, AI is used for coding, customer service, and personalization. “Treat AI like a member in every meeting,” she said.
- Brand Philosophy: Nykaa has always stood for empowering women to feel beautiful for themselves, not for others. Its iconic Pink Friday Sale is now an IP-owned movement.
- Optimism & Resilience: She remains unshaken by competition, IPO pressures, or market changes. Her mantra: “Be Bold, But Be Good,” and her belief: “No disaster can scare me, because confidence is my fuel.”
The session left the audience deeply moved. Young mothers resonated with her honestyabout juggling roles, entrepreneurs admired her risk-taking courage, and leaders tookback lessons on resilience and empathy. Around 200 women entrepreneurs attended the event, and they highlighted how refreshing it was to hear a global business icon also talk about beauty mishaps, sleepless nights, and small joys— making her truly relatable.
