FICCI FLO, under the leadership of National President Ms. Poonam Sharma, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NAREDCO MAHI, the women’s wing of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO). This initiative was to establish a strategic collaboration aimed at promoting women’s leadership in the real estate, infrastructure, and construction sectors.
The MoU was formally signed by Ms. Poonam Sharma and Ms. Preeti Singh, Additional Director General at NAREDCO. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by Ms. Smriti Puri, National Treasurer of FLO, and Mr. Milabh Gangwar, Deputy Director General at NAREDCO.
Through this collaboration, both organisations will jointly organise seminars, workshops, and capacity-building programs focusing on entrepreneurship, finance, real estate regulations, ESG best practices, and emerging technologies in construction. The MoU also outlines a framework for mutual access to each other’s events and learning platforms, as well as the co-creation of publications and research highlighting the contributions and potential of women.
This partnership is a step to economically empower women by expanding their reach into high-growth and traditionally male-dominated sectors such as real estate and infrastructure.
