FLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Madhu Banthia, organized a “Diya & Rangoli Making Workshop” under their urban skilling initiative, focusing on skilling young women and girls at Manav Gulzar Center, Ahmedabad. Urban skilling initiative focuses on empowering women by equipping them with employable skills to generate income.
Diya & Rangoli Making Workshop focused on skilling young women and girls ahead of the festive season by teaching them how to make Rangoli cutouts and do Diya decoration. This workshop enabled them to sell their handmade products in the market to earn a living. The event was made possible due to mentor Vandana Agarwal, who led the workshop and taught participants about the Rangoli and Diya-making process.
