Digital Skilling Initiative

FLO Jaipur, led by Chairperson Dr. Rimmi Shekhawat, in collaboration with Pratap Globezone, hosted a Digital Skilling Initiative. The event was aimed at building digital capacity among grassroots women and aspiring entrepreneurs, especially those interested in operating E-Mitra kiosks. This initiative impacted 50+ women participants.

With the theme “Digital Dreams, Real Impact!”, this initiative served as a step toward bridging the digital divide. The initiative aimed to equip women with practical digital skills and knowledge of essential government-backed online services that can promote financial independence, self-employment, and community development. This initiative will also be actively implemented in FICCI FLO Jaipur’s adopted village communities – Kansera (Tehsil Nawa) and Rajod (Tehsil Jayal).

Key points discussed are – E-Mitra training & certification, where participants were trained on setting up and managing E-Mitra kiosks, which are government-approved digital service centers providing over 300 public utility services, including banking, bill payments, certificates, and more, and 15 women were awarded Government-Registered E-Mitra Certificates.

M-Swastha Services, where participants were introduced to M-Swastha, a health-tech initiative partnered with E-Mitra, enabling access to: telemedicine consultations, e-clinics, and online appointment systems.

E-Police Services, an awareness created around the Digital Police Portal, allowing citizens to: file online complaints, register FIRs, use Lost & Found services, and improve transparency and convenience in law enforcement interactions

Energy-efficient solutions via EESL, where participants learned about EESL’s super-efficient appliances, available through E-Mitra kiosks.

The Digital Skilling Initiative marks another milestone in FLO Jaipur’s journey of community upliftment. With women at the forefront, technology as the tool, and purpose as the driver, FLO is redefining the narrative of empowerment.
