FLO Vadodara, under the leadership of Chairperson Shivani P. Patel, organised a soothing session focused on Heartfulness Meditation to promote mindfulness, inner calm, and holistic well-being through practical meditation and relaxation techniques. Participants were introduced to practical meditation techniques and immersed in an atmosphere of calm and inner reflection. The session began with Chair Yoga, conducted by FLO member and yoga expert Ms. Preeti Saktavat, which helped participants gently warm up, enhance flexibility, and prepare both mind and body for meditation.
This was followed by an enlightening talk by Mr. Vivan Patel, a seasoned Heartfulness trainer, who shared insights on the philosophy and benefits of Heartfulness meditation. He illustrated how meditation can be integrated into daily life to improve focus, emotional balance, and overall health. A guided meditation session was then led by Vipul Ray and Pooja Aga (Heartfulness Trainers), whose calm and encouraging approach created a peaceful environment.
Also, the session allowed participants to experience deep relaxation and mindfulness. Attendees were introduced to simple meditation practices they could continue independently. The interactive Q&A and experience-sharing session further enriched the event, with participants actively engaging and expressing that they felt refreshed, centered, and motivated to adopt meditation into their daily routines.
Organized under the national initiative FICCI FLO – FLO Kavach, the session successfully fostered mindfulness, inner calm, and holistic well-being. The combination of chair yoga, Vivan Patel’s talk, guided meditation, and interactive discussions made the event a meaningful and enriching experience for all involved. Around 76 women benefited from the Heartfulness Meditation session as they left the venue with a calmer mind and a happier heart.
