YFLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Neha Goyal, organized a diya-making session under its Earn N’ Learn program in order to continue putting efforts to nurture creativity and cultural awareness among young learners.
Over 40 bright and enthusiastic children, all part of the Earn N’ Learn initiative, participated in this joyful and festive activity. The program, which focuses on helping children earn while they learn, provides academic support, mentorship, nutritious meals, and weekly creative sessions designed to build both skills and confidence.
The Diya-making workshop was filled with color, creativity, and celebration. Guided by YFLO members and instructors, the children learned to design and decorate traditional clay diyas using paints, mirrors, glitter, and natural hues. The activity encouraged them to explore their artistic imagination while understanding the symbolic meaning of Diwali—the festival of light, hope, and positivity.
Each child’s diya reflected a unique story of joy and self-expression. Beyond the art, the session also introduced them to the values of sustainability, tradition, and mindful creativity—showing how small crafts can bring light to homes and hearts alike.
Through such creative and engaging workshops, YFLO Ahmedabad continues to empower children with knowledge, skills, and inspiration, fostering confidence, cultural pride, and self-reliance.
