FLO Kolkata, under the leadership of Chairperson Nidhi Jhunjhunwala, celebrated Grandmother’s Day at the Little Learning Centre. It was a heartwarming celebration where grandmothers brought their grandchildren for a day filled with fun, creativity, and music. The air buzzed with excitement as everyone got their hands dirty during the craft
activity.
Grandmothers and their grandchildren worked side-by-side, creating unique
photo frames out of air clay. These weren’t just ordinary frames; at the end of the
session, each pair was surprised with a framed photo of themselves, a perfect memento
of their special day together.
The energy continued to build during the music session. Participants learned the lively
art of body percussion, creating rhythms and beats using their own bodies. The room
filled with laughter as grandmothers and grandchildren clapped, stomped, and tapped to
the rhythm, bonding through the universal language of music.
The event was a wonderful success, creating lasting memories and filling the morning
with pure joy and laughter. The celebration mixed craft and music to engage the attendees. It is a part of FLO Kolkata’s efforts towards creating a community of cheerful members who celebrate big moments together.
